Canelo is nowhere near top 5 P4P.

Canelo was a creation of the media to fill the void that Julio Ceasr Chavez left.
Canelo absolutely is talented I don't deny that but he's nowhere as talented as made out to be.
And he isn't close to Chavez even though the promoters desperately wanted him to be.

 

He looked far better in his last fight than Canelo did v Bivol and GGG.

 

One must consider their opponents. Canelo fought he top fighters in their respective divisions(you can argue that Bivol was #2).

 

But hasn`t looked P4P to 5 in his last two fights.

 

GGG is not a top fighter at 168.

I think Canelo needs a rest then we shall see how he is when he returns to the ring in Cinco de Mayo 2023 hopefully against one of the PBC Champions. It’s clear he loses to Bivol who may even stop him next time.

Before the fight started he almost uttered out Mayweather's name when he was supposed to be saying Canelo, these guy's man they always have one thing on their mind, usually relating to Race.
