    He doesnt need alot of work if you ask me. very accurate, good defense, great bodu puncher, I dont know what the hell you seeing.

    I think Canelo beats Williams, Willams would not be able to take those body shots. Mayweather beats everybody boxer out there so take him out the mix. Martinez would probably beat him but it wouldnt be easy and Martinez is p4p right now.

    I think Canelo beats everybody at 154, Cotto is the only one that would give him trouble but im not even sure Cotto can beat him, and thats coming from a Rican

    Canelo is popular and well promoted ... he has the look and potential but nothing more. He has a long way to go.

    Exactly, those guys are p4p boxers i.e. the best out there right now. And Canelo doesn't belong in that category. Not yet, at least.

    And I think he needs to work on his defence a lot. He's gotten tagged a lot when fighting come forward fighters. He took a lot of unnecessary punishment against Hatton and Cotto. His offence does look as good as anyone's. His variation of punches and fluency of combos is top notch. If he can work on his defence, a little more upper body movement, he'll be a serious force in the future.

    He is a good fighter, and is given way too much **** considering he's only 20...but...one of the best boxers in the world right now? That's a bit of an overstatement.
