Not sure why everyone is suddenly saying Tank is the face of boxing after 1 win against a weight drained Garcia. Canelo is still the king of boxing

I couldn't believe the pre-fight propaganda/intro Davis got about about his being this transcendent athlete that's known by everyone even outside of boxing, they talked about this guy like he was Elvis.

If any of that blather was actually true he'd be swimming in endorsements.

    Hey Dudes, enough chitchat...Canelo...Davis...
Today, inside and outside the ring, the faces of boxing are only two: Usyk who I hope he wins other 4 or 5 fights, proving to the end hes the best before his deserved retire...

    ...and Bivol.

There is a feeling he may be past his best and after the Ryder fight which he should win many favour Bivol to defeat him again and Benavidez to beat him.

I think they're hoping if they keep saying it, that it will come true. In England where I'm from at least Davis isn't really known at all outside hard-core fans.

Canelo is still the biggest draw in boxing but tank is a top draw.

There's very little feeling that he's past his best. He lost to a massive Light Heavyweight and struggled with GGG, who he's always struggled with. Of course Bivol will beat him again, because Canelo is not a Light Heavyweight. Benavidez fight is still seen as 50/50. Canelo isn't going to be running like a ***** like Plant, he'll be landing blistering combinations on a relatively stationary Benavidez. It'll look like Canelo vs. a Super Beefy. Will Benavidez's size prevail, it's possible. But not a guarantee by any means. Regardless, Bivol beating him and GGG closing well against him isn't close to as embarrassing as needing a gift to beat Isaac Cruz, and losing almost every round to Hector Garcia, Leo Santa Cruz and Rollie ****ing Romero, before being bailed out by his power. But please, keep on with this line of delusional magical thinking, it's hilarious watching Tank fanboys turn themselves inside trying to convince themselves of this fallacy. All because their dumb as a brick deck stacking featherweight killer hero says he's something.

Yes i said the same thing few days back, they need to let it go as when it happens it will by itself all on its own organically, it looks so desperate from their part.

True plus if many fellow Boxers just fought more & it doesn't even always have to be a high level opponent then they actually would get more exposure & momentum but they just don't & it's killing their ability to grasp more star power,

You have to consistently keep the public engaged & i don't mean having useless twitter spats either.

Fact is Davis hasn't done anything to put his name at the top of the sport. Nearly lost to Isaac Cruz owes him a rematch in my opinion. Garcia still unproven and is more well known as an influencer than he is as a boxer and due to the hydration clause was greatly diminished going into this fight.

Man just the word "Influencer" :roto2palm: oh by the way is it even a real word?

Yeah it's open for sure, i think Ortiz recent bad luck has stagnated his push as well, him being exciting & being Mexican could get him there, it's just hard for non-Americans to get to that superstar level sadly regardless of their opposition & high level skills.

Clenelo is 32, Twink is 28 and he'll be 30 by the time he's released from jail for injuring that pregnant woman in the hit-and-run, which is not the first hit-and-run of his career for those of us who saw the Isaac Cruz and Rolly fights.

Sure, Clenelo has a lot more miles on the clock after 62 pro fights and has fought infinitely better opposition, but Twink had a much more extensive amateur career (220 fights albeit only at the domestic level) than Clenelo and if Twink does someday eventually step up to the elite level against real ones the miles on his clock will rack up quickly.

I think your post just shows whose thinking is dumb fallacy. Tank’s power does not bail him out. He uses his skills to set people up then takes them out. He has high level ring IQ. You hate Tank, you have made that clear. Even Issa Cruz who gave Tank a great fight and has mad respect Tank as a fighter. I know you think you are smart and wise but you are not. Perhaps some reflection is needed on your part. You still seem upset! As for Canelo I am not saying he is past his best rather I am saying some feel that he is and favour both the Mexican monster and Bivol to beat him again. Hopefully we get to see it and by the way the Mexican Monster David Benaividez is not Super Beefy as you call him with Callum Smith whose nickname is “Mundo”. Benaividez is much better than Callum “El Mundo” Smith.
