The thing is with those fights is that it would been very hard on Canelo if theyed have gone the other way,the Trout fight is not in doubt that Canelo won and the Lara fight at best it would of been a draw,I'm not a fan of Canelo and he may of looked awkward but IMO he still won.

 

Lara I can understand, he's proven to be difficult against anyone, but Andrade? And you want to call him #1 at 154 when he's a step or 2 below Canelo and Lara and probably not even better than the Charlo's?Sure buddy.

 

Well, Canelo's said he's not coming back to 154lbs. One must believe he just can't make the weight anymore...or dreads the thought of making that weight again.

It's a shame he can't make 154, there were some high quality fights there. Andrade is a great 154lb fight. Brook or Cotto are good action fights. I could even see Brook v. Cotto - winner gets Canelo v Andrade victor.

If he does move up to 160lbs (or a catchweight) i expect curtis stevens in dec, lemieux in May, and the GGG in Sep.
