    No matter how you want to cut it.

    Canelo landed the best overall "effective" shots. Irrefutable fact.

    Canelo was the far better defensive fighter. Irrefutable fact.

    Canelo has a higher ring IQ and is a better counter puncher. Irrefutable fact.

    Canelo has far better head and foot movement. Irrefutable fact.

    Canelo limited GGG to being a pressure-volume puncher wtf. GGG looked like Margarito this past Saturday. A guy who just comes forward and throws alot of punches walking into shots. His power was abysmal as well as his body punching again. Even the majority of his jabs had nothing on them. There were times G had Canelo looking like Floyd and Canelo was gassed.

    While a good portion of you are celebrating a moral victory yet again. It's Ward/Kovalev scenario again except worse because there was no KD. We're still trapped going through the same motions of a broken record that's been played over and over again. We all know in our hearts who wins the rematch.

    The truth is being avoided again. GGG is supposed to be a monster. He's supposed to be in contention with Hagar and SRR, not Danny ****ing Jacobs and Canelo.

    Hes supposed to be the greatest of all time at cutting off the ring according to his minions yet past couple of days he like a good portion of you are crying Canelo doesn't fight "like a Mexican" and he moves. He followed Canelo around allowing Canelo to move where he wanted. He never pinned Canelo to the ropes at all who went to the ropes on his own accord.

    Ggg is not the truth. I sold Canelo very short as a fighter. He proved me wrong big time. Still has stamina issues but he fought off the back foot and ropes very good. He evaded and made GGG miss tons of shots.

    He even had ggg the monster of all monsters tentative when throwing punches. G did not commit to any punch fully, even his pity pat jabs. There was really only a few that actually snapped Canelo's head back.

    We all know how this ends. They actually robbed Canelo intentionally to set up another big fight. I don't care about what Steven A Smith and the rest of the majority of the mob of idiots have to say. These people like most of you give guys rounds just because they move forward and throw punches.

    Real boxing fans who actually know the scoring criteria know G is a lessor fighter than Canelo who many even myself thought or claimed to be a hypejob. If you guys care to continue this argument, post your rounds first. Then we'll do some real arguing.

    All of that doesn't matter if you gas out like he did. He was the better fighter in spurts, but couldn't maintain it throughout the round or the fight.

    Take your agenda elsewhere, you POS. You just can't stand the fact that GGG beat a doped up, 185+ pound, prime version of Canelo while Floyd beat a green and drained 23 year old. Literally the reason you're pulling for Canelo. You know you don't really believe he won or is the superior boxer.

    Amen. You take away the size, the more punches landed, the conditioning, the workrate, the control of range, and a few other qualities, and GGG's got nothing on Canelo.

    5/5 thread. Would open again.

    Oh.. I like this new way of using "Irrefutable fact". Let me try...

    Regardless of anything you said above, GGG won a clear decision in this fight. Irrefutable fact.

    Seriously if it weren't for all the bull**** of the scoring and idiots trying to justify a Canelo victory, we could actually be discussing some of the areas I agree with you. But if you can't get over the fact that GGG won the majority of rounds then you're not worth further discussion.

    Now the haters have the benefit of the draw. If they would have scored it right it would be "Canelo fought well but GGG pressure too effective"

    Maybe they should change the rules of boxing just for Canelo so the rounds are only a minute twenty seconds!
    No he would still gas out.

    It's amazing that some people still try to call GGG a hype-job or a fraud after the Canelo fight.

    CompuBox ------> GGG landed about 50 more punches in the fight
    CompuBox ------> GGG landed more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds
    CompuBox ------> Canelo landed more power shots in 7 of the 12 rounds

    My scorecard = 8-4/9-3 for GGG in the bout.
    [116-112 or 117-111 for GGG]

    I'll continue to add scorecards as people post them or I find them.

    TOTALS through post #123 of the thread

    68 = GGG won
    12 = Draw
    04 = Canelo won [includes 2 Golden Boy promoters]

    68/84 = 81% had GGG winning the fight.
