One of the hings Cotto did good and won rounds vs Floyd was punching in variety. Not focusing on body or head, but simply combining. Canelo in my eyes is arguably the best (next to Rigo & Martinez) variety puncher in the world. he punches a 2 punch combination and the second you think it's over you get a crushing body shot. on top of solid technic Canelo realy have high punching power. Floyd rarely gets hurt in the ring, but most of Floyd's opponents don't punch enough and simply don't go after him like they should. Castillo did and so Cotto and they won rounds. Canelo is physicly taller and bigger, he wouldn't be the favourite, but I can see Saul winning against Mayweather.

Sure nobody except Cotto, else than Floyd can **** with Alvarez. Molina and Kirkland simply aren't on the level and Lara is mental, wouldn't punch enough, wouldn't pressure to win, just would lose.

Yeah he stands a great chance at taking that 0 from Mayweather and it won't be easy.

I would prefer Canelo to take the Cotto Trout Winner, then follow up with a big fight with Mayweather.

This fight was a farce. How beating old man Mosley and a 140 pounder makes him ready foe the elite, I don't know. The kid looks to have skills, GBP needs to take the kid gloves off him.

I can't even remember the last time he fought a guy in his own weight class.

No doubt. Maybe Canelo will fight at natural 154 lb fighter next if we're lucky.

Canelo started as a LWW, was beating up men when he was 16....

He has some good fights ahead of him, would I pick him confidently over mayweather right now NO! but come on he is moving along great, Cotto Trout Winner, then a Mayweather fight, little steps to the top... then we can even talk about martinez at 154 canelo has plenty of time to fight everyone at 154 fighting 4 times a year, being 22 and saying he wants to be at 154 for a very long time, just wait everyone will get what they want.

Didn't get to really watch the Saul fight since I was focused on Sex Bomb Sergio vs Julio's son. Heard he did well though.

Ready for that av whenever you are.
