It is a mandatory fight. I think Jacobs will take it and the guy deserves a hell of a lot of credit. Haymon has nothing to lose. 3 belts on the line and he can win the purse bid if they don't make a deal. Would be a great fight for Barclay's Center.

Take a risk dare to be great play your role as b side. Is that too much to ask for a 34 year old who has the worst resume in the sport for a so called elite fighter. After its all said and done ggg will be another zoo another guy who wouldn't take risks either.

Completely agree. I just hate when that dumbass Pimp C says Hopkins' resume at 160 is legendary when he beat cans and two Welterweights.

GGG is basically doing the same thing Hopkins did at 160 except he's not fighting Welterweights.

By that reasoning Hopkins would be a great win for Tyson Fury. I mean it's really simple we have weight classes fight the best in the weight class if you need a catch weight don't move up. There's nothing wrong with dominating a division. Historically that's how you assess greatness.

Nobody cares about A-side, B-side stuff. Just be a badass and fight.

A great fight for plexiglass companies and other glass substitutes as glass will sure to shatter at the Barclay center. Might as well bill the fight as shattered glass part 2. With a plexiglass logo in the center of the ring.

:rofl you really are the gift that keeps on giving tonight :good

How can you play your role as the b-side when the a-side if too afraid to fight you and drops his belt?

Golovkin didn't price himself out, he had to take the mandatory cut, fact.

So what role does Golovkin have to play to fight another champion is his OWN WEIGHT DIVISON?

Canelo banged out a glass jawed welterweight a week ago, daring to be great was he? Playing the a-side was he? Taking risks was he?

    You bellend

That's probably not the statement to make trying to defend Canelo. :D

GBP been chipping away any chance of a positive legacy one day at a time for months now - today was a sledgehammer.

Are you aware everybody in the thread is dishonoring you? That should be an indicator that you're acting a fool.

That maybe be so, time will tell, nothing is definite but anything is possible on how history will remember Golovkin.

But After all is said and done Canelo will always be remembered for being a coward.

A coward that wasn't afraid to fight Mayweather, actually what does that say about Mayweather :think

Drops a belt, humiliates himself and his country to avoid Golovkin but happily fights Mayweather :yep

Seems to be Canelo's line of thinking. He is worried about getting savagely KOed. There isn't an excuse for what Canelo is doing. It really is embarrassing.
