He'll surrender, but as I understand it, both sides are still negotiating.

Canelo actually has more flexibility without being bound by the mandatory terms. Like N17 mentioned, I think it's going to murder his rep if he walks away now.

People are still under the impression that him giving up the belt means the fight's dead. Not necessarily the case, and both sides keep saying this is their primary option.

Hopefully they work something out, I'd like to at least see one of the big fights I was looking forward to this year. :good

    O$CAR indicated talks were ongoing.

IMO... I don't expect to see GGG ever fighting Canelo at a 155lb. "catch weight".

If Canelo's reputation falls into the dumpster, we may never see them fight.

Canelo should chop off his own nuts and hand them to GGG same time he hands over his belt.

I thought Canelo would be too proud to do this, this is beyond pathetic.

Lol Oscar thought he could talk his way out but GGG and k2 put them in his place. I don't even care to see canelo fight ggg he can't win. Let ward meet ggg half way at 164 and get beaten just to shut the Floyd nut huggers mouths. But sadly ward would never do that either. GGG just is that scary.

He didn't vacate the belt, he run from GGG and forgot to bring the belt with him.

Everyone wants to see Golovkin drop the belts and gain 15 lbs. going up to light heavyweight, but I don't hear or read them wanting Ward to fight Kovalev................

Nacho Beristain said that Golovkin would end Alvarez' career, really hurt him. Oscar believes the fans are re****ed as hell. I predicted from the inception that El Pollo would drop his belt rather than fight Golovkin. Alvarez should go back down to 154 since he is afraid to fight at 160.............Alvarez refused to fight any middleweight and never earned the middleweight belt. It looks as if Golovkin will fight Jacobs next.................

    Ughh :patsch

This fascination with another man's finances some idiots like you obsess over disgust me. Rather look at your own bank account you re****. I'm sure Golovkin has more than enough to enjoy a very, very comfortable retirement even if he were to stop right now. Not everyone wants to drive Veyron Super sports... and why would you even care? The mind boggles.

As a boxing fan you should want to see fights getting made.
Canelo has ducked this fight, it's clear as day. If you want to blame someone, blame him.
