Canelos "reign" at MW reminds of me RJJ winning a HW belt and then he quickly vacated it because he got scared a real HW would take his head clean off.

No. Canelo still calls the shots. Golovkin can't make that kind of money without Canelo, but Canelo can without Golovkin.
Stop being an ignorant fanboy please.

A side don't need belts. Canelo is the bigger draw here regardless and will make more money than ggg will.

I said for him to move up a year ago. He waisted his time begging canelo for a fight he could have moved up and fought ward which would have done more for his legacy anyway. This is what he deserves and is left out in the cold once again.

I'll bet the Mexican fans are not going to be happy about this. GGG has catered to them and he has a lot of fans there. Canelo just looks so bad here. Especially after his little speech in the ring after Khan. I know business is business but Canelo and Oscar are just going to offer terms to GGG that he can't possibly accept. And I think he is going to find after this move that there really aren't any big-money fights for him out there. Good riddance Canelo, go fight Khan again. Or how about Chris Algieri?:patsch

Lemieux, Stevens, anybody. He's the cash cow and can make millions without having to fight GGG. Has GGG even made 3 million for one single fight yet?

If it is true that ggg is asking for a 55/45 share, then I would have given the belt away to him too. Take your belt, go running to defend it vs ishida again, or maybe monroe. good luck. 3 belts, and he only has been in a ring with ONE champion in his 35 years of life. He, that has fought no one, has an incredible oportunity to build his name and.... 45/55. Ridiculous, yes, everybody dodge him, sure... 55/45?, as i said, take your belt, gratz and gl with ppv vs ishida II.
