All that seems to be signed is that the winner must face Golovkin as the mandated next opponent for the WBC belt and the winner will have 15 days to agree or likely be stripped. The winner could just as easily drop the belt and Golovkin will then fight for the vacant belt and become the WBC champion.

I'd love to believe the winner will fight Golovkin after this but I won't hold my breath.

Wich is the exact same situation as before, and we've seen what happened.
So don't get your hopes up yet, Canelo has to grow some cojones first.

Khan's not going to fight Golovkin if he wins. First he needs his 3 tune up settling into the weight fights before moving up 8lbs to face Canelo and then in the event that he were somehow able to emerge victorious in that one, and the chances of him doing so are slimmer than Wilder's chicken legs, then surely he's going to need another 3 tune up settling into the new weight fights to face Golovkin up at full MW.

IDK about the tuneups, but the WBC would likely grant him an exemption should he win, along with him agreeing to stepaside % of his next fight which would be May or Pac for the WBC MW title at 154.1:patsch

Even if he were to beat Canelo, I'd be shocked if Khan took the fight with GGG. Golovkin wouldn't be a huge payday and that's the only reason Khan is risking it against Canelo.

But if it did happen I'd be delighted. I can only imagine how spectacular the KO would be, we might get a KO to rival Jackson/Graham.

Looks like crying and begging finally worked for the fraud who has zero significant wins.

Khan won't fight Golovkin. He's already said as much.

''I don't think I'll go on and face Golovkin because he's a very big, tough guy, and he's naturally very big, and a very good boxer.''

''Golovkin is a totally different fighter, I think he's too big and strong for me.''

    --Amir Khan

But in the event he did, yes the inevitable KO he would suffer would be brutal beyond description

Call me crazy but I believe the Canelo/GGG fight will happen this september. There are a couple of things that GGG recently said concerning Canelo and his fight with Khan that makes me think they are already creating a "feud" between them for the fight.

Actually, based off what Sulaiman said about a month ago, if the WBC champion at the time decides to vacate the belt, Gennady will become the full WBC champ without having to fight anyone for it since he's currently their interim champion.
