Canelo - Kirkland Must Happen Next - Post If You Want This Fight

As much **** as people give Canelo's chin for being shaky from being stunned a couple of times, he has shown a hell of a lot more sturdiness than Kirkland. This would be a war, I just don't know how long Kirkland's chin holds up.

 

I would give canelo the most respect if he takes this fight. I think kirkland was neutralized by molina, but he would bring the dog out of canelo, and a war would ensue.

 

Canelo would blow Kirkland out.
How about James give Molina the rematch instead??

I'd love to see it. I give Canelo the edge but it's really 50/50. Canelo has the more solid fundamentals, but Kirkland has that raw aggression that can surprise anyone and take them off their game if they aren't prepared with the craft to neutralize his potent offense.

I don't see that fight being a PPV at all. Canelo's Mexican following towers over his recognition in the United States, and Kirkland himself is far from a household name. This is an appropriate HBO Championship fight.
