Canelo-Kirkland was just the chaser boxing needed

Yup D-level vs B-level is a good show for the casuals.

 

I'd say it's more B+ vs C+

I can't give Canelo the A-level standard until he beats a top opponent convincingly, he still hasn't done that.

Exciting fight though, maybe a little short but they're human and can only take that punishment for so long.

 

How come Kirkland won't learn to box ? He can barely talk now and at this rate his career will be over by 2017 ? With Pugilistic dementia to boot. Exciting fighter ? Maybe! Victim of the game ? No doubt ? Dude won't be talking right in 2 years....

They call it sweet science for a reason and Kirkland has not studied this at all... Ann Wolf has been the death of this guy. All she can teach is preparation for the brawl and against a boxer/puncher, it means nothing. Props for getting away from Ann.. Now go see Jeff Mayweather and learn how to box so you can have a life when you're done...

Absoloutely nothing wrong with a 24 year old up and coming champion fighting a former world champion, top rated JRMW with a huge punch as a tune up on regular HBO.

Better than paying $100 to watch two old top fighters SPARR like last weeks fight after one fighter was already brutrally KO, and the other struggled with a real B level fighter...

 

For real learn some skill to last in the game Kirkland was there to be beat most you lot enjoy one sided fight to make you feel good I'm not even watching that fight its a silly fight and a cheap thrill,nothing that we don't know already Kirkland knew it was coming and only sick **** that don't get boxing would enjoy that trash that to me proved nothing

 

Oscar's Goldenboy is getting too much credit for beating a cherry picked fighter.

 

Look at all your contradictions you say Kirkland should learn some skills to last the rounds against conelo,but when Mayweather schools CONELO you say why don't he fight like a man
