Canelo-Kirkland was just the chaser boxing needed

That was pure genius by golden boy. Stage a fight against the easiest guy to ko in the division right after a boring fight and let casuals fall for it and think canelo is ready for floyd now. Really smart. This fight = ggg vs mayorga

 

The same Canelo who was damn near shut out and made to look like an amateur by this so called boring fighter? That Canelo? BTW I'm not a Canelo hater.

Hopefully I'll get some sense from you you when was the last time got checked to his face? .....come this is boxing there has been a few that have got closer than manny did, but why get excited over a few shots 36minz and a so called top 1-10 fighter wins a round or two by a few shots and not saying a full round just a few shots and you want to celebrate that as a victory??
One thing I know is jim lamply jumps up with a high pitched voice when PAciou punches into no mans land or gets a scuff and when it's played back its not a scoring flurry just a burst of energy going no where please don't lower your self to the level of jim lampley, slowly but surely the glue is becoming unstuck and reality is setting in manny changed his style thinking he would box that could of worked if he had been doing it for a while but to think that your going to change things drastically and not be your self in a short period was a foolish move manny suggested it and roach agreed to major changes,I would understand a few things to do but not a complete change

 

Because the punches Manny caught him with were solid. Not getting excited just acknowledging what happen. Manny touched Money with Consistent power shots in the grill that had some impact. That's it. And outside of a few fights 15 years ago I can't think of anyone else who made that kind of contact in the face throughout the duration of the fight.

 

Def helps boxing... as much as some fans want to hype Mayweather's superb defense, good skilled balanced fighters with both good offense and defense are ultimately what keep boxing relevant in the mainstream.

 

Yes, that same Canelo... does it make you feel better to say that Floyd shut him out? Strange, but suit you.

Canelo as witnessed Saturday night is becoming the new face of boxing. People tune in to watch him perform. He was great this Saturday. He gave what everyone was craving and yearning for.

 

I'm not a Canelo hater. I like him and think he's good for the sport.
