canelo being the white boxer showed less damage on his face than lara, canelo had this bruise in one eye end thats it, lara had bruises in both eyes and an eyebrow cut... dont believe me look at the interview where lara jumps at the reporter... and i had the impression that his nose was also bleeding during the fight...
No its not . Once again , you cannot label someone black just because of their skin complexion . Amir Khan has a dark skin complexion , yet that does not make him black .
Kahn is a wrong example because he's not really black. Lara is, again, regardless of where he's from. You seem to be under the impression that only African-Americans can be called black and that's clearly not the case. There are Cuban blacks, African blacks, PR blacks, even Mexico has some blacks. My last post on this matter cause we can stretch this for days.:good
You callin him black just cause of his dark color , and I don't agree with that. So yes we'll just agree to disagree so can move on .
Bro, you are confusing nationality with race. Lara is a black Cuban, just like Trinidad is a black Puerto Rican and Sammy Sosa is a black Dominican and Anderson Silva is a black Brazilian. Just because someone is from a certain country and speaks a certain language doesn't alter his/her race. There are white people in the U.S., Europe (where they originated from), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc and it doesn't matter what language they speak or where they live. Some people are mixed race (Mestizos for example are a mix of Spanish (white) and Native American (Asian). Hispanic isn't a race, but rather a cultural identification. Anyone regardless of their race can be "Hispanic" if they were born in a Latin country (Spain which is in Europe doesn't count btw).
He's calling him black because his ancestral background is steeped from thousands of years of African procreation. Do you understand the distinction? Just because someone has brown skin does not make them black. There are fundamental physiological, and anatomical differences between black Africans, and dark skinned Indians, or Arabs. They are not one in the same. Black people of an African extraction are found everywhere in the world, and that includes Latin American countries. I don't know if you were trying to stir people nerves with your ******ed analogies, or you were being serious. I just hope it's the former instead of the latter.
I am saying he threw even less than he normally does which helped his stamina but imo should have cost him the fight because he wasn't throwing his normal combos and took a big risk by going to the body more than the head. Because he is the cash cow and the Cotto fight is looming it didn't matter. I love Cotto but win, lose or draw he didn't look good in this fight. Where was the jab and combinations? Head movement?
Canelo isn't one of those fighters that go overboard when they have won. Look at his celebration after the Angulo and Lopez fights. He just walks calmly around the ring, he doesn't run around, he doesn't jump up and down, he doesn't make throat slitting gestures, he just raises him arm walks around the ring and sometimes goes and stands up on the corner to salute the fans. He also looked very tired after the 12th, he threw everything in that final round and was breathing pretty heavily so that would of course effect his demeanour. He probably thought it was close but he raised his arm up a few times to signal his victory. He did not do that when he lost to Mayweather, he simply walked back to his corner, he knew he'd lost then so didn't raise his arm.
