Now that I hadn't considered. It's a very good point you make. This could be all business rather than sporting for him....

3 offers have been made to Golovkin. Alls he needs to do is find his pen and sign one of them.

I personally think Canelo counters Golovkin and hands him the beating of his life.

What people fail to realize is that Ggg is completely unproven at the highest level of boxing.

Maybe he's trying to give Canelo (more likely Oscar) confidence to take the fight sooner, rather than later.

He isn't and it showed how badly he got touched up by Brook who despite his size was the mist skilled fighter he ever fought. If Brook was the same size as GGG he would have beaten him going away. Canelo is more skilled than Brook and GGG will be in for a shock when he gets into the ring with him.

The only fighters Canelo doesn't KO are fighters on survival mode or fighting off the backfoot. So unless Ggg goes into survival mode, and we know he doesn't fight off the back foot, there is a very good chance Canelo stops Ggg.

3 great contracts sent for Sept. 2017. I think its safe to say Canelo's camp wants the fight for Sept 2017.

Not sure what the REAL holdup at the K2 offices is.

Once everything is in place, I think a deal will be signed. Sanchez said yesterday or the day before that Canelo-GGG negotiations were going well. K2 and GBP are just marinating the fight while sorting out all the details in the meantime.

    Patience is the key IMHO.

See my previous reply, however $8 million @ 155lb is not a great contract. The numbers keep getting better, no wonder K2 keeps holding out for more.

It's going to happen in September, I have no doubts about it.

They may very well end up pricing themselves out though. Thats the risk.

I was right about Wlad-Joshua happening, so I think I'm on point with Canelo-GGG TOO!!!
