I just think that once K2 find out the maximum amount GBP will give them, they'll (have to) take it.

There's too much money in Canelo-GGG for it not to happen IMHO, I just hope it happens this year.

 Nobody who got his ass handed to him on a plate by Floyd, arguably lost to Lara, squeaked to a win over Trout and got clowned by Khan for most of their fight ... hands Golovkin any sort of beating whatsoever. If El Pollo has difficulty with a succession of featherfists, what's he going to do against a master boxer with grenades in his gloves like GGG? :rocket:

    3 belt champion.

Made Canelo "Puto" Alvarez run like a chicken  and chased him back to 154 :flipa:

Wow! That's surprising he would say that! :buenrollo:

Lol GGG is undefeated and is becoming one of the sports biggest names. Canelo is a W on Floyds record that would make that W look better if he continues to win and even beats GGG.

Very true, the fight that comes to mind is Garcia vs Matthysse

GGG isn't a master boxer, he's a decent boxer with big power, also doesn't fight in anyway remotely close to Mayweather,Lara, or Khan who trouble Canelo with speed and outside of Mayweather he outboxed 2/3.

One could easily argue if faster more mobile boxers could not land consistently on Canelo why would a slow GGG be expected to. Styles make fights and Golovkins style is not what has shown to give Canelo trouble.
Finally 1 pound in non title fights isn't jumping a division and shedding 1 pound for title fight isn't running from a division, the idea that is is a bit ridiculous.

Anything can happen and has happened in boxing. We can only analyze and take calculated guesses. This fight will be closer than many make it out to be. Don't be surprised if Canelo becomes the favorite in Vegas.

Canelo would present the best/most difficult style match up for GGG atm, so hopefully we get to see it later this year.

Big punchers have not given Canelo trouble because of his massive weight cutting. He outweighs them by at least 15lb come fight night. What will he do with a guy his own size with greater power than anybody else he's fought that isn't scared to turn it into a phone booth war?

He will fold, and he knows it which is why he gave up the belt rather than become roadkill against Golovkin.

Excellent analysis by TBE, as always. His points are valid and well thought out. There's no denying his reasoning.

I don't agree obviously with how sure Mayweather is of the outcome, but its definitely possible isn't it.

Outside of Khan and Mayweather there is not one fighter who you can legitimately claim Alvarez has outweighed by 15lbs, at most 5lbs or less which isn't an advantage at all that's just propaganda being spread by fans.

As far as the GGG I wasn't in agreement with dropping the belt, but guy never fought higher than 1lbs above his division which has never in history been considered jumping weight, also the other guy tried to used politics to get more than he's worth.

How is Pacquiao to this day a bigger draw than GGG, yet Manny getting paid 20mil which he makes on average is pricing himself out but GGG turning down 15mil isn't? Dude's been offered the fight at 155 and 160 twice and ducked out all 3 times.

I think most informed fans get it. Even some GGG hardcore fanatics have seen which party has been unreasonable. It's just some lingering BUT LOUD Gggoons that are stirring the pot with all their alts.
