Dossnelo never reveals his fight night weight—clear sign that he rehydrates a ton—but he looks to be in the 180s. Kovalev might be 10-12 pounds heavier, but that's about it.

Well no **** Sherlock. Kovalev won’t even be as much as 10lbs heavier than Canelo, but weight and size are not the same thing.

Kovalev says he's been rehydrating around 5 pounds in recent fights. If Canelo shows up 180 they will be the same weight.

Let's see how that affects Canelo's speed and stamina...

They're not the same thing, but fight night weight is the greater factor in terms of an advantage. What makes a Lomachenko-Crawford fight impossible is not Crawford's height/reach advantage, but the fact that he rehydrated 18 pounds at 140.

Canelo doesn’t need to he massively beefed up , just enough to give himself the strength he needs while also being quick enough to slip his jabs as much as possible and work on the inside.

I think Canelo will just look the same really. It’s interesting that he hasn’t made a rehydration clause for Kov but apparently he doesn’t put that much weight on anyway?

Canelo hung one on Jacobs, but not Kovalev. Things feel mad fishy.

    ''I usually weigh 178-180'' -- Clenelo

Kovalev weighed 180 and 182 respectively for his last 2 fights

Pakkugan: Canelo probably weighed more than Kovalev on fight night.

Also Pakkumon: Canelo will likely put a rehydration clause on Saunders to drain him.
