    Good vid again Rummy.

For me this either ends Kovalev by stoppage with multiple KD's, Canelo by stoppage due to bodyshots, or a controversial decision in favor of you know who.

Great recap of an epic fight Rummy.
Canelo is taking a major step up with this fight.

Canelo has an iron chin and on the inside his uppercut is hands down the best in boxing today.

No stacked deck as this is at the full 175 and Canelo has improved his movements and footwork to a new level however Krusher is still fighting at 175 which is his home.

I can’t call this one as one shot or heated exchange can end this one in the blink of an eye.

Canelo has a great chin, slippery as hell, way faster than kovalev and tough as nails. I don't think that kovalev can keep him at bay or get to him that easy. Canelo will either stop kovalev or win by robbery decision like always.

For me, the two most probable outcomes are Canelo by stoppage and Kovalev by decision.

Rummy is on a hot roll with his vids. The last few I have watched have been spot on.

He's quite right that Kovalev runs hot and cold.

My personal opinion is that the rumours about Kovalev are true: in between fights he likes to hit the bottle and party hard.

But there's not going to be an in between now, because he's just fought Yarde in a bruising battle and he's now going right back to camp. The real question is: is it going to be long enough to recover from that trench war? If it is, and if Kovalev is being a good guy in camp and doing what he's supposed to do, we may just see a flash of the old Krusher come fight night, and there's only one winner there. If on the other hand he's going to bring bruises and injuries from the Yarde war into the Canelo fight, its equally possible that Canelo out-slicks a tired and slow Kova and gets the W.

I likewise get the feel that this is a legacy cherrypick, a calculated risk by Canelo. He obviously thinks he's going to win, but that cherry might not be ripe yet ;)

Only if he floors Big Red more than once can he win on the scorecards bru

Kovalev doesn't need to score a knockdown to win a round. Canelo has too good of defense and too solid of a chin to be knocked down easily. But if Canelo is shelled up on the ropes just looking to survive how are the judges going to give Canelo that round?

Good video, Canelo needs to be either too close or too far from Kov like you said.
I see the only way for Kov to win is to revert to the old Krusher, a guy who used to start FAST and stop his opponents in 3-4 rounds.
This Krusher will gas after 6-7 rounds and give Canelo a chance to get a decision or stop him with body shots.

Seriously, Kovalev cannot get a decision in this fight, it's impossible.

Good video Rummy, I watched it this morning, although I disagree with your prediction. I have Kovalev by late TKO. But as you said, there's a lot of variables with this fight, and it isn't all that easy to predict. But sometimes you can overthink it. I'm taking the Occam's razor approach with this one.

    Excellent video Rummy.

I'm also torn in the middle. I actually give Kovalev the edge because as you said he has more room for mistakes where as Canelo has to fight a perfect fight.

If Canelo manages to evade Kovalev's rangy and powerful jab he may be able to box well enough to out box and frustrate Kovalev, but that's a great task.

Canelo will be using more energy than Kovalev too, using more movement and punching harder to get Kovalev's respect. A very tough fight for Canelo indeed.

    Two concerning Kovalev .
I feel he will not be hot n cold now he is under the tutelage of Buddy McGirt
the next is can Kovalev take a punch as good as GGG, I doubt it & having McGirt can't help him there, one thing about Canelo he comes in hard & fast & he is good at it...50-50 fight.
If Canelo comes in clean & no ref/judge nonsense he can't lose either way .
If he loses he has to get the respect from all as he is taking on a big task, this will please all his Mexican fans & maybe this is what this fight is all about?
If he wins fairly, he truly is deserving of the title a superstar in boxing out ranking Floyd in my book , including GGG...Only thing is will WARD think so....
