ahahaha stop it man, those guys would get destroyed by canelo. The only 160 pounder that beats Canelo is GGG.

Destroys? IDK..... Those guys are actually real MW's who have proven their worth at MW for quite sometime, I think a couple on their day give Canelo a run for his money.

Well i'd put him a top of the list tbh... He gives Canelo trouble with his boxing similarly to how Trout, Lara and Mayweather did, and like the former two I think the end result would likely be a controversial one. Canelo SD with a lot of people thinking BJS did more than enough to deserve the nod.

Just look at some of the issues Kirkland gave Canelo early.... Lemieux, Quillin and even Stevens would be interesting. Canelo would certainly give Lee more opportunities to land the right hook than BJS did.

Anyways.... Canelo certainly isn't unbeatable at MW, there are guys apart from GGG who give him a run for his money. More than the one's we're talking about here as well.

He has respectable power. Like a 6-7 out of 10 I would guess.

Again. See natural weight class. He wouldnt move up, just fight where he belongs. Just try to drain yourself Way Down from your walking weight and you will feel it.

It's a different type of power. He doesn't have that quick, snapping power, but there's a lot of force behind his punches. He's strong but not a big puncher.

Also, you bring up Mosley and Cotto. There's things to take into consideration. You mentioned welterweights, Canelo fought a still-game Mosley at 154, and he was just a kid. It was more of a learning experience for him. Same with Cotto with regards to weight. Also, when Cotto was dropped by Pacquiao at welterweight, he was less defensive. Against Canelo he was not hit as flush or as often because he utilized his defense more. Different circumstances; something to think about.

You sound like boxing master and those other dudes... the way you type. Y'all cut from the same cloth?

P4P Pac hits harder, but in actuality I'd give the nod to Canelo. Pacquiao has the quick, snapping power. Canelo has more force behind his.

    Ok lets examine this then

Pac fights mosley 2 years before knocks him down

Canelo fights him 2 years after and fails to even hurt him that much

Canelo goes the distance with matthew hatton

canelo could not hurt cotto bad

Pac knocks him down with single shots 2 times.

Canelo hits above average but not as hard as Pac

    Yes, let's examine...

Determining power isn't as easy as "he knocked this guy down but he didn't". There's circumstances and variables to consider.

sorry but this comment from you alex must be the most craziest thing you have said

"Canelo is bigger than Pac, naturally, and therefore hits harder"

punching power and size mean nothing you could be as big as fury and not it that hard who hits harder fury or povetkin?

who hits harder Pac or chris algieri? chris is bigger
