I'm just looking at it in terms of who did more fat burning exercise this week. Canelo might still have to work off weight, and all things being equal, that's harder for a fighter to do, but considering Canelo young age, it is quite possible that he could re-energize after a large meal following the weigh-in. If he is above 152, it will be interesting to see what happens. I kinda hope he makes 153 exactly, so he only has to give up a 1 lb penalty (and not the 2 lb penalty). Unless Canelo can make 152 easily, I'm not sure it's worth it to make that weight. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't know either. He looked fine at the presser Wednesday, but he's young. He actually looked pretty comfortable there, but it's possible that he's still a few pounds above the limit. If I had to guess, he's been eating well, but he might not be fully hydrated. Again, his youth might negate that inherent disadvantage when he re-hydrates after the weigh-in. It's his energy level on fight night that should be maximized.

Two champions at the same weight fighting at a unification fight at a a catchweight, it has all the makings of being a farce. Lets see how Canelo performs on saturday if hes gased after a couple of rounds then Mayweather gets no credit for it if he wins.

how is a guy that offered to come down to 150 gonna be weight drained when he walks in at 152 when in his last fight he weighed in at 153

He offered to come at 150 cause he was trying to make the fight happen cause if it were for Floyd this would be at 147. And since when does he walks in at 152 when he has to lose something like 20 pounds and rehidrates to close to 170 on fight night, you're making absolutely no sense.

The fact is they are both titlists at 154 and thats were they should fight at, having an unification fight at 152 is a ****ing farce no if's or but's.

BTW what happened to all that "I want my opponents to be comfortable" was that only for Cotto? Why is he draining Canelo when he let Cotto fight at the Junior Middle limit. Another thing is if Mayweather wins should it count cause according to him Pac's victory over Cotto didnt count cause it was at a catchweight so going by his logic if he beats Canelo it wont count.
