Canelo lost against lara, its a fact

I picked Lara but hes an idiot if he thought he was gonna get a fair shake. He had to win convincingly. The way he fought made it easy to rob him. Canelo may have landed less but he threw more and many judges favor that.

Lara did very well early on but fell apart the second half of the fight. The body work that Canelo put in paid off and Lara slowed down.

 

if a fighter is throwing a lot of punches that are NOT clean , in my eyes that should not get him a W .

...I lost count watching Canelo miss wildly out of frustration .

 

I picked Lara and to a certain extent I don't feel too bad about that pick because that fight proved to me that Lara was indeed the more skilled fighter but the fact remains that many judges prefer quantity over quality when it comes to punches and Lara should have known that.

 

Honesty even If Lara had scored a knockdown , they still would have not given the fight to him .

The fight would have came out as a Draw or a 1 point Canelo win .

 

Maybe, but if he did then I'd be with you and say it was a robbery.

 

Over a 12 rd fight landing 10 more punches isn't a indication of a clear win then add the fact that 60% of thoses shots were jabs, as far as Canelo's misses that's what happens when your opponent spends the majority of the fight half a ring away. Lara had a decent start, ran towards the middle and didn't close out the championship rds. A SD either way is the way the fight played out just so happens Canelo got the W.

My scorecard I gave Lara rds 1, 3, 6, 10, & 11 Canelo rds 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, & 12. Only difference I've had is sometimes I give Lara rd 5 and Canelo rd 6 which still equals the same score. 8-4 Lara is as ridiculous as 8-4 Canelo, 7-5 Lara I can see don't agree but I can see that in a close fight.

 

erislandy lara fought like a scared little girl. that wasn't footwork lara was using it was runwork, lara said he was going to come in there and break canelos face but he fought the whole fight in fear for his life, you don't win professional fights like that... FACT!!!
