Canelo lost part his fan base against GGG?

Canelo is Oscars pet, he isn't a real man or even his own man, he is a little boy who does what Oscar tells him to do.

If I was Mexican I would not recognise him as a real and true Mexican.

 

Have to add, he is a very good fighter though but he is still a little snivelling turd.

 

He fought the fight that gave him the best chance of winning. Mexican style don't last for 12 rounds v GGG, he'd eat you eventually.

 

Oscar's made him look a ****. I think Canelo would fight anyone if allowed !

 

I cant wait for this rematch to happen so we can put an end to this.. That little c**t Byrd ruined it for us fans..

In relation to you thread.. I've heard from mexican friends that Canelo is not liked in many parts of Mexico.. I for one think its BS and he has a lot of fans but I do think he lost the fight and fought in spots because if he would've gone toe to toe or fought the way he initially said he was going to fight he would've been knocked out..so for the regular eye he fought like a lil b**ch and thats why he got booed. That being said as much as I love GGG he also wasted a lot of time for the first three rounds and could've done a bit more.. Hopefuly the rematch is better.. Not saying it was a bad fight but it was defintely not what everyone expected.

When you're the face of boxing you'll get a lot of hate from everyone.

Mayweather was loathed when he was the face of boxing.
Oscar De La Hoya was hated by many including Mexican Americans and Mexicans when he was active.
Saul Alvarez was booed as far back as the Alfredo Angulo fight.

Canelo will always be hated on, it comes with the territory of being on top.

GGG won 8-4. 7-5 if you are being kind to Canelo, who fought well in spurts.

 

he didnt fight like a mexican, i give him a pass though because to go head2head with ggg that night would have been bad. People just want to see blood. I was more impressed with canelo that night even though I had him losing by a little bit.
