    extra advantage?
perhaps Floyd should have penalized canelo 1 pound for every weight division hes had to climb since 130 to make this fight happen

Yeah, extra... You know... On top of being faster, more experienced and flat out a much better boxer than Canelo.

it was only ever going to be a catchweight though
Floyd wasn't the same Floyd when he fought cotto and Oscar (blown up welters) at 154, didn't move as well as he normally does, so he wasn't going to fight at 154 again against a full blown 154 lber who walked in against trout less than 10 pounds shy of what ward walked in against dawson

like someone said previously, canelo can rehydrate all he wants
the big question for me is what Floyd will walk in at. he wants to be more mobile than against cotto and Oscar for my mind when fighting canelo

There's no need for him to come in anywhere near the weight limit. Floyd can come in at 148 and, IMO, he should as an extra 3-4 lbs won't do **** but slow him down a touch. The weight limit is for the other guy.

    agreed :good
canelo is new territory though for Floyd, who is at his limit at 154 judging by previous fights

I do believe Floyd will be slightly slowed down. He wasn't as fast in the cotto fight either.

Only thing is blind is the hate in your post. He's red and slick get over it. Canelo is very accurate, watch more fights of his instead of ignoring this kids skills.

If Floyd is the master in this match, Canelo will be one hell of a student.

Yeah, I'm thinking much the same. :good

This is a fight that Canelo could win, but I still think Mayweather should win, because he's well aware of what his foe will bring to the table and will fight accordingly. That means he wins his rounds in such a manner that will prevent judges from giving any benefit of the doubt to the younger and likely more aggressive fighter.

canelo has the same chance as anyone else against floyd.. a lucky early ko.. apart from that floyd will work him out, time him.. out think him, be faster.. i'v watched canelo a few times and i just can't see how he can win this fight..
