Shambles, I always knew deep down that he was juicing but now he messed up big time by making it public, if GGG beats Canelo he will get 10x the credit that Canelo will if he beats GGG.

And that's an improvement from the first fight how?

How many people gave him credit for fighting Golovkin to a draw in their first fight? At least on this forum, not many. He fought well enough to win, but even before all this clenbuterol came out, hardly anybody gives him the credit. So it's not like some massive change. The people who have been hating on Canelo weren't going to give him credit with or without this development. Even without this clenbuterol stuff, if Canelo wins the rematch, they're still going to cry corruption and scream robbery.

The vast majority of the media didn't give him credit for beating Golovkin the first time when he arguably did. So what's the real change now that this came out?

We've been hearing for months that supposedly 90% of the population had G winning the first fight after Canelo fought the fight of his life and gave Golovkin the toughest test of his career. The vast majority on here haven't been giving him credit not only for the Golvokin fight, but for practically every one of his quality wins. Whether it's refusing to admit he beat Trout or Lara, whether it's proclaiming that Floyd shut him out and won every round, whether if it's saying that Khan shuld have been ahead on the cards, some even think Cotto should have been much closer than it was.

So it's not as if this is going to result in a big change in perception. The people who have been on an agenda vs Canelo for years, this isn't going to change anything. It's only going to add more fuel to their fire.

And the people still on the fence with Canelo, well Canelo may lose a few gullible fans here and there, but the majority of the people who still are on the fence with Canelo, they aren't going to just abandon ship for something like this, at least unless we have something more concrete.

Reality is, this isn't gonna change much. The people who have been hating on Canelo will continue to hate on Canelo, only with more vigor and vitriol due to this test. Canelo's fans will continue to support him because they have their doubts about this test. This isn't going to move the needle too much, which is why I'm not really too upset about it.

At the end of the day, this would be more damaging if more fans were more neutral and unbiased to Canelo in general. If people gave him credit for beating Trout, Lara, etc, if people didn't say he got favorable judging, should have lost to Golovkin etc, then maybe this would make a difference. But no, Canelo's haters and Golovkin die hards will remain excactly where they were, this is just yet another built in excuse they have to a long list of reasons and conspiracies to cry about in case he wins the rematch.

Not sure that's the case. How many people discredit Fury's win against Klitchko?

I don't understand how this guy writes essays every ****ing day. He probably could have published several books with the amount of essays he's wrote.

    Absolutely nobody, haha. Good point.

Nobody questions or asterisks all of Roy Jones and Erik Morales' fights, either.
