If you think that there should not have been a fight, then clearly you also feel that there was no chance on Canelo losing.. so.. I don't know what I am believing that you are not. I did not say that he wasn't losing rounds.. I said he knew that Gomez wasn't on his level. Gomez may have been "going to war", but he was in no danger of hurting Saul. Canelo Tasted his power.. knew it wasn't an issue.. and proceeded to play with him. I am not saying it didn't show poor ring IQ, especially if it was someone close to his level. Honestly after the Trout scorecards... It is safe to assume that Canelo knew he would win UD.. so really all he had to worry about was being KO.. and like I said.. he knew Gomez couldn't do it.
I think about that fight and I think Alvarez just might beat Void, however, he will have to knock Void out because Void owns Vegas.........
At THIS point of floyds Career , he will absolutely lose . Trouts southpaw stance and workrate combined with his heavy size (170+) will prove to be way too much for Mayweather . Floyd gets outpointed .
I think Canelo can do it. It will be a competative fight what ever happens, these Mayweather fans talking about a stoppage or a Mayweather domination are deluded. One more thing Canelo clearly beat Trout.
^ Whoever did needs to be removed from the forum. As for the size issue, it's not that drastic... Floyd is not a tiny Welterweight, he's actually a solid sized Welterweight and Canelo's 5'7 or 5'8? He's not a very big JMW, he's thick, but he doesn't possess a serious size advantage over Floyd. Paul Williams would have had a size advantage worth talking about.
