The statement by Max Kellerman that Canelo was the lineal middleweight champ was a straight lie and a hype job yet he didn't even blink when he said it. I wish a big ass hand would've appeared and slapped the taste outta his mouth.

No matter what happens Canelo will always be a yuge star. He's a bonified elite fighter and if he loses to ggg that has NO bearing on him being an elitely talented great fighter.

Only beating ggg will change some views on his greatness. Some idiotic ignorant "fans" (truly trolls) refuse to accept how talented a fighter he is.

Lose lose for both (minus the $$$)
GGG wins trolls spread he beat a smaller fighter, whoopy doo...

Canelo wins he only beat an over rated "old shot" fighter.

This is the level of people we deal with

So, you're claiming this is ggg "first meaningful fight" , believing this nonsense would have to mean hops NEVER had a meaningful fight his entire mw reign.

That would have to be true considering hops never faced anyone @ mw that's remotely close to the level of fighter that Jacob's has become.

    Hopkins-Taylor-Pavlik-Martinez-Cotto-Alvarez.
How hard is it to comprehend?
Its not like the lineage is and actual title that resembles any of the ABCs.

How hard is it to comprehend the word champion. Canelo is not champion of anything in the middleweight division.

What exactly has Cucknelo got himself into? A huge payday with all the A-side advantages and s sure win if he just manages to survive.

I know what it means but we are talking about the middleweight lineage.
Again, Canelo beat the former champion. He holds the lineage.

When he forfeited the title the lineage was broken. Although he was the last fighter to hold that lineal distinction he can only be referred to as the former champion, not the champion as Max stated.

Trinidad was a career welter, that moved up late and was ever a 160 lb fighter same with Oscar, Hopkins signature wins...joppy wasn't bad, or holmes, but they aint a level above Jacobs..

Canelo is well skilled and he is fast enough, and GGG is an open fighter defensively. This is winnable for both, but to say does he know what he is in for? He thinks he can win and he has confidence. I mean really is Canelo better than most of the guys GGG has fought? Yes. I would have liked to seen a common opponent. Say if Cotto fought GGG, that would have told us a lot.

Pac knocked Cotto out, Alvarez could not, Trout beat him and so did Lara....................

Oscar has promised Alvarez a win, all he has to do is be standing at the end of the fight, Oscar owns the judges, referee and boxing commission, after the Kovalev/SOB fight Oscar knew he could win it with his officials..................the referee will have a lot of work to do protecting Alvarez from Golovkin, but the referee can get by with anything as proven in the Kovalev/SOB fight, punches to the testicles is the key for Alvarez and the referee will allow it, but only for Alvarez. Golovkin has to get a knockout, I am thinking about not buying the fight because I think it will be fixed. Oscar will do anything to keep his cash cow winning. Vegas judges are well known for their corruption, the referee as well and the boxing commission?! Are you kidding?! They make the mafia look like choir boys.......................
