Canelo is not going to fight anyone who has talent. Guaranteed !!!!!!
De La Hoooter wants to keep the record going by beating little guys and unknows.

What do you call Floyd, Trout, Lara, Cotto? Talentless fighters?

Lemieux is strictly a hooker type puncher, but with very fast hands, which is unusual for a puncher, very explosive. I think Canelo is too versatile and too strong, Lemieux would have his moments, but Canelo has fast hands too, good jab, better defense, and bodypunching that would humble Lemieux. I think Canelo would copycat what Ggg did with Lemieux, he'd respect Lemieux's power, but break him down in the process. Those sayin Canelo don't have power, he does have power when he chooses to use it. I don't think he's as cool headed as Ggg, tho, so Canelo could be lured into a slug match which could favor Lemieux, but not by much.

Canelo stops him quicker than GGG did.

I agree. Canelo hasn't faced a legit puncher yet.

I'd like to see this fight but I think Alvarez is a comfortable favorite here.

Lemieux would be a reasonably live underdog and a Lemieux ko wouldn't be any sort of surprise but Alvarez ends up stopping him in a pretty entertaining fight.

I think guys like Golovkin, Jacobs, and Saunders are more of a threat to Alvarez then Lemieux is and I think all three of those guys are favorites against Alvarez.

Once again making a huge ass out of yourself in an effort to denigrate GGG, do you have any shame?

LMFAO!!! 5'7 Junior Middleweight Canelo at 22 could have very likely been KO'd by 6'0 Super Middleweight KO artist Rubio with 51 KO's (more KO's than Canelo has matches) as well, since you know, Canelo had a tendency to gas late in fights like Lemieux back then, and still does.

Its such a pity he didn't want revenge against Rubio for his bro Rigoberto, after all that was the narrative for the Trout match, and all Trout did was outpoint him. Rubio KO'd him, still the only guy to do so.:deal: Canelo should have been way more pissed at Marco than he was Austin.

You must not watch middleweight fights then, because its about 7 or 8 people who beat Alvarez at 160. Jacobs is one of them.

Canelo would destroy Lemieux, nothing controversial about that. GGG jabbed him to death, if he was as aggressive as he normally is he would have stopped him in 3 or 4. It's not about 'denigrating' GGG, stop being so sensitive.

Lemieux has no jab. However, he does have a pretty strong right cross to complement his hooks from hell.

People say Canelo would tee off on Golovkin because of how open he was against Brook. Using that rationale and what we saw in the Angulo & Smith fights, Lemieux murders Canelo in the ring. We all know that won't happen.

I'd be interested to see my boy put Canelo on the ropes and land a left hook, left uppercut combo. We'd know a lot more about Canelo's whiskers.

Oh, looks like I had both of these fighters confused with someone else. First time I've seen them. Thank you. I'm surprised I haven't hear of either one of them until now.

Check out Derevyanchenko obliterating and KOing in 2 (which I predicted...to the round.:D) Sam Soliman who'd only been stopped once in almost 60 matches.
