I believe it was poster Jaguar who used to have a pill bottle with the word 'Insta-Bum' on it as his avatar.

A pill that that suddenly and magically makes all of the opponents Mayweather would never fight (according to ESB logic) unworthy, too green, or bums immediately after Mayweather dominates them.

Canelo just took his pill, that's all.

I said beforehand that Canelo was a solid juniormiddleweight that was on the upswing. Meaning he has'nt seen his better days and is still improving. I'd rather see Mayweather fight these types than former featherweights that dont have a single physical advantage over him.

Mayweather beat a solid bonafide juniormiddleweight champion. In fact he beat the best juniormiddlweight today.

For a change he beat a fighter who was skiilled and had physical advantages that could exploit his.

Mayweather deserves credit for beating Canelo but having said that, he did not beat Canelo as easily as alot of you are painting the picture he did.

Mayweather did not shutout Canelo and Mayweather was made to work for the victory down the stretch as Canelo came on strong late.

Canelo imo was the toughest test Mayweather has seen since Castillo and he deserves the credit for passing that test.

These are the matchups I want to see Mayweather against, not smaller fighters like Marquez, Guerrero, Pacquiao who were once featherweights or smaller as pros.

I here Golovkin wants a piece of Mayweather and is willing to come down to 154 lbs, if thats true, Mayweather should'nt think of fighting anyone but Golovkin as there is'nt anyone at Welter and below with any physical advantages that could trouble Mayweather.
At least with fighters like Canelo and Golovkin, you have fighters with some skill and with some physical advantages to offset Mayweathers skill/quickness/speed factor.

    Shitty comparison.

With all due respect to Corrales, hindsight clearly tells us he was a B+ type.

Neither FLoyd nor Corrales were primed when they fought each other.

Never really thought he was a threat.

And I don't mean that to criticize Floyd, he's just miles ahead of everyone right now. I don't think the fight can be criticized from a matchmaking point of view, Canelo was/is perhaps the best challenge out there for Floyd...it's not like Floyd was taking on Ortiz and hyping up the young, hungry lion aspect. He fought a good fighter who was considerably bigger than him and schooled him because he's miles ahead of everyone around the weight class.

Not really a threat, but a totally legitimate bout.

Yet somehow 86 press row members scored the fight for Mayweather by an average score of 119-109.

    Where did you read that?

One round for Canelo is absurd. More absurd in fact than judge CJ Ross' score of 114-114.

Canelo forced his way in and scored well to Mayweather's body and shot the jab well to the head.

Mayweather rode a tide of momentum in the middle rounds that imo eyes stopped paying attention to actually scoring the fight in the later rounds and assumed that Mayweather just would dominate those as he did the middle rounds. Not the case though on my card.

Mayweather smiling after Canelo connects to his body does'nt erase the points there scored by Canelo. Pay attention lad! :D

I agree with you. If you're a bigger fighter like Canelo, you have to look to throw right when Mayweather gets his off.
Look to punch with Mayweather and hope your heavier hands will be felt more.
Got to be willing to takes shots though, and Canelo a good enough skill fighter did'nt have that mentality when he should have realized in training camp he'd have to take shots to give them against someone as good as Mayweather.

To beat Floyd you have to come at him like a animal I'm starting to think..
Plus have a iron chin, brutal punch and great workrate.
