You're basing your assumption on what exactly?

Charlo has sold more PPVs than Benavidez.
Canelo pulls the Mexican and Mexican American market. Charlo pulls the African American market. Charlo is more known by Mexicans than Benavidez, and I said Mexicans, not Mexican Americans, which are two completely different markets.

So Charlo may very well be a bigger monet fight.

With that said, Canelo has earned the right to fight whoever he wants, he has always had naysayers like you, you guys were there for Trout, Lara, Golovkin, Saunders, Plant, Bivol, hell even against Angulo you had people saying he was afraid to make the fight happen.

If he fights Benavidez this May, which is still a possibility, I'm sure you'll change your tune and become a Canelo fan, right? Lmao

Not true. He dehydrates to make the weight and then is much heavier on fight day. And since he is bigger, he has more momentum and larger frame, which makes him generate more power. He also have reach advantage.
