Canelo not happy with GBP

With the Canelo-DAZN deal he now is able to provide his fighters for DAZN fight cards and gets paid for it.

 

Well Canelo got his fancy DAZN deal via GBP, with all partners and sides under the assumption the 3rd GGG fight is coming. After all, two controversial fights left a sore taste and wanting some more in fans' mouth, it's clearly the most marketable event DAZN can put up right now.

And since DAZN opened a pocket so large in post-HBO landscape not even CBS-Showtime or Disney-ESPN could realistically match, they have every right to be pissed at Canelo balking at the GGG fight GBP promised. Which they never should have, but I think they were fairly certain that as Canelo's promoter, they have the ultimate say in opposition, and realistically, Canelo escaping with the titles and not giving GGG a fair chance at getting them back pulled the rug from under everyone else. So there are other parties more justly pissed at Canelo's diva status of opponent selection.

Well, I can't watch DAZN... Aren't there any? Middle level or even unknown fighters on the undercards?

 

Not even just Canelo one could see why DAZN would be pissed also.. They should have talked directly to Canelo to avoid the mess they have on their hands. Basically the only reason for them giving GGG such huge contract was due to Oscar guaranteeing the trilogy.. So they guaranteed almost $500 Million between the two for the trilogy to bring more subscribers.. On top of that they guaranteed the Canelo fight in GGGs contract based on Oscars guarantee in Canelo’s deal..

 

Really to be honest I can understand Canelo being mad at Oscar. Yes he's made him a very rich young man, yes he ended up being able to steal the titles from GGG for him BUT
now Canelo sees the way Manny Pacquaio is being lauded as The Fighter of the Era he realises how Oscar has made him look like a diva & a coward over the years. He will never have the legacy Manny has or even the legacy GGG has
Oscar ruined that for him. OR Is canelo really the Diva he looks of course the clenbutrol deal hasnt helped him
