Canelo offered 2 fight deal vs. Charlo and Benavidez

Most people would rather see Charlo and Benavidez. We’ve already seen Canelo vs GGG and the Bivol fight is a good one, but it’s just gonna be another Canelo stalking a mover.

 

Bivol/GGG > Charlo/Benavidez

Expect the claimed appreciation for Canelo fighting Bivol to disappear at any moment. He is the #2 LHW. And the Golovkin fight I get that he is ancient in years and would be moving up a division but it is ultimately a grudge match in a big rivalry against a fellow future HOF'er. Nothing similar in the proposed PBC matches.

 

For his legacy there's no question it's the Bivol, GGG route.

Although not number 1, Bivol is much more legit than Makabu at the weight and would provide a legit test.

 

Also, I had Golovkin winning both fights, the first was closer but I thought the second was clear, it's a chance for him to let history remember him as the clear winner in the trilogy.

Maybe the PBC fights would be more entertaining however they do nothing for him in the grand scheme of things and would obviously be blowouts.
