It's not an excuse. It's very smart and logical. These are professional boxers. They risk their life to aim maximum payday. Career is short, fast and dangerous. Why fight an unknown boxer and get little salary, instead of fighting a popular boxer and getting lots of $$$ ?

    Trout
    Lara
    Golovkin

Cheato would have definitely used the plaster against Floyd. That turned out to be the smartest move any fighter ever made in hindsight. Imagine if Collins passed on Resto?

But my friend I'm sure you've seen the videos of Margarito asking Floyd "why wont you fight me " & seen Floyd's reaction ??? Floyd knew who he was alright when he legitimately destroyed Cotto ROFL Floyd wanted no part of Margarito he was terrified of him embarrassed himself something terrible. Remember he "retired" then but slithered back when the CSAC got Margarito out of the way LOL

Typical drenlou ludicrous post LOL No one has had the cojones to come out in public & accuse Antonio Margarito of anything illegal, he'd have been a very rich man if they had. They had nothing but a stupid mistake on Capetillo's part putting a harmless used pad in the wrap instead of the required new one. merely a technical offense blown up out of all proportion To compare that to the diabolical deeds of Panama Lewis & Luis Resto just shows what a foolish person you are who knows very little about the sport.
A good fighters good name & career were tarnished based purely on lies about Plaster blocks that never existed

You may have a point on GGG/Canelo 1 other than that you're talking out your ass.

No he doesn't have a point on anything. CJ just love to cry and cry about the fighters Canelo beat.

That mistake cost Margarito his reputation, and every fight from cintron/ Lujan up to Mosley when he got caught has to be questioned. I mean Cheato damn near ripped Lujans ear from his head. He had to have been using those illegal pads for years.

Love the logic used on here, right?

If he beat Benevidez he wouldn't get much credit from those same people. Benevidez is a lot more hittable than Bivol so I don't see a wipeout win for Benevidez like some are saying.
If it goes 12, Benevidez is unlikely to outbox Canelo. His chin has been battle tested so it isn't given that Benevidez would tag him and have him on his bike. I think Canelo would be too savvy for him.

Agree with CJ on the first Canelo/GGG fight. Agree with you on the second part of your post.

Well you said he "may" have a point on the first Canelo/GGG fight which indicates that you're not too sure about that one. Canelo GGG 1 and the Lara fight were both close, the Trout fight not so much. Even CJ knows arguing Trout beat Canelo is quite a stretch compared to the other 2.
