Like Mayweather before him, the day Canelo gives any opponent an even on the level fight & legitimately beats him I'll give him credit for it. NEITHER of those divas have done that in Vegas. Thats why Canelo refused to fight GGG 3 in MSG Ny, He wouldnt have his "INSURANCE" behind him in NY

I think you are in alternative universe. There are like 3 Canelo fans on the entire esb and it's pretty much the same in other message boards. I already cancelled DAZN so my money doesn't go to these crooks and tons of other people did it as well.

its insane. ok, i get it, you dont like him. that doesnt make it ok to make up some universe where canelo is some loser who has everybody fooled. the dude is at the top of the sport, whether you like him or not, whether you agree with how he got there or not, whether its good for the sport or not. avoiding reality doesnt help anything except personal egos.

I'm not arguing, Canelo is a convicted ped cheat and score cards are fixed in his favour. That's a fact. It's also a fact that he avoids prime fighters and goes after the past it/old/shot fighters.
I suspect he has a large fan base among Mexicans, whose only criteria is that a fighter has to be a Mexican. Most Mexicans won't support the cheating ginger scum and only wait for him to go away.

I'm not really surprised at this.

Canelo might be an excellent boxer, but there must be a limit of his greatness. His attempt on Kovalev is nothing more than a carefully calculated risk taking like a general who only engage in a war he can win. Same like when he fight Golovkin. It's clever from him, I give him that. But this is hardly a respectful boxer.

Just like I thought. He doesn't to want anything to do with this division. What a shame.
