    Canelo gets schooled by nobody but Mayweather. Lara couldnt school Angulo, hes not bout to do that to Canelo :lol::lol::lol:

    Can you honestly see Canelo walking through the same firepower Angulo did in order to get to Lara? There's a reason why that hematoma developed around Angulo's left eye.

    Lara's defense doesn't suck at all. Among active fighters he's ranked in the top three in terms of opponent connect %.

    To be honest, besides the two punches that subsequently knocked Lara down, he wasn't hit flush to the head much at all. As a matter of fact, although they didn't have the same effect, I remember Canelo getting hit flush with more head shots against Angulo than Lara did (I could be wrong).

    Canelo is too inconsistent for my taste. I'm not a betting man but this will be a 50/50 fight for me. Still a very good fight.

    Lara is about to put a Paul Williams type asswhipping on Canelo. There is no stopping it.

    Lara is a much better boxer than Canelo and I believe he carries and delivers more power in that straight left than Canelo's jaw can absorb.
    The only question is after Lara administers a Paul Williams repeat beat down on Canelo will he get robbed by the judges as he did against Williams.

    I've always like Lara been hes never stepped when when he needed too. he was supposed to dominate Vanes, fought terriblely, supposed to dminate Angulo because he is the WAAAYYYYY better boxer...but didnt and got dropped by a slow ass fighter.

    Is Lara a better boxer?? techinally yes, but he doesnt have the chin, experience, power to keep Canelo off of him. Canelo will KO lara, 100% Guranteed :bbb:bbb

    Did Trout or Mayweather have the power to keep Canelo off of them; he still struggled against both of them (Mayweather in particular). Do you feel that Trout is a better fighter than Lara or did he bring something to the table that Lara doesn't?

    Also, regarding Lara not stepping up: what about the Williams and Trout fights?

    Again, Canelo's a bigger, faster, more skillful fighter than Maidana; so why did Maidana do better against PBF than Canelo?

    Though Lara was not 100% perfect in the fights you named, he did win them.
    Although he got KD bu Angulo, he wasn't hurt. It was more a balance shot that caught him rolling ooff the ropes with his head up and chin out. He got up and stopped Angulo by TKO.
    I wouldn't be surprised if Lara got KD by Canelo, but I expect he will respond as he always has by getting up and outboxing Canelo for the remaining part of the round. :yep

    The problem with this is that there was no blue print to beat Torut and mayweather, both were undefetead. Canelo will watch Angulo fight, add more speed and power to that, way more defense, get Lara out of there

    yes Canelo was very dumb in the way he chose to fight Mayweather, if they rematch down the line he will do better. maidana was smarter then canelo, u dont try to box a boxer

    At the most he was a little stunned.
    He got dropped because he pulled straight back with his hands down and chin up. He has corrected this defect now and Canelo doesn't fight the same pressure fight as Angulo needs to.
    You won't see that happen in this fight.

    Canelo doesnt fight that way, really reckless but i think he will have a gameplan to apply good pressure.

    Maybe Lara will surprise me and box for 12 rounds and not get cuahgt but i dont see it. u get caught by Angulo ur gonna get caught ALOT by Canelo

    Somehow I still think Lara pulls this one out....he will pull out a
    few change ups and the Red Headed Punching Bag will slow his
    pace down as always!!!
