Canelo opts to fight Jermell, the smaller Charlo

It's a dumb fight but I don't blame Charlo. *I* would take a beatdown for 60 seconds in order to get a Canelo payday. No fighter in their right mind would turn down that offer.

This is the downside of a three-fight PBC contract. Canelo is going to take an appetizer before going to the main course. He's on the way out so I get it, but Canelo/Benavidez is now another 10-12 months away.

I think in all honesty even Shadow realizes what a fraud Canelo is. He's supposed to be the King of Boxing ROFL!! He's supposed to be the hero taking all the risks BUT!! Yet he signs for 3 fights with PBC & who does he go for @1 ? Jermall Charlo who hasn't fought for over 2 years during which he has endured serious personal problems & could never be @100% in Sept. So our hero goes for Jermell Charlo the smaller twin a 154 fighter. The King wants to fight him @ 168 meaning he dragging up Jermell a whole stone 14 pounds when not long ago the King was fighting @175 but got his butt whipped by Dmitry Bivol lol.

Because Canelo is going to "Take a Dive" & get "KO'd" by Charlo on purpose as part of a Fixed fight & Canelo doesn't want to upset his Mexican fans on Mexican Independence Day (Sept 16th).

That's why Canelo wants this fixed fight to take place on Sept 30, because Canelo is going to "lay down" ("throw the fight").

Charlo is going to win because the fight is pre-arranged Fixed in his favor.
Canelo is going to "throw the fight", just like he did against Floyd Mayweather years ago, only difference will be that Canelo will not "lose" by decision but will look "knocked out" instead.
Canelo is being forced to lose by the same people behind the scenes.

That's why there's no catchweight requests and no rehydration clauses requests by Team Charlo against Canelo, because the Fix is in.

Charlo doesn't mind jumping 2 weight classes & doesn't have to worry about fighting a bigger stronger Canelo, because Charlo knows he's going to get a Fixed win in his favor in pulling off an upset in this "David vs Goliath" type of fight in the eyes of the "blind" public.

Canelo will "take a dive/ lay down" in the fight, because he's being bribed to lose and/or threats to his immediate or distant family are at stake, like they did prior his fixed fight with Floyd years ago.

That's also why Canelo is not having this fight take place on Mexican Independence Day (Sept 16th) because he knows he has to lose the fight on purpose & doesn't want to spoil his heritage celebrations for his Mexican fans on that same day.
