Canelo or Crawford, whoever loses that fight should retire...

The fight is too big to accept defeat, whoever loses should retire from boxing...

I think if Crawford loses he could probably go back down to 154 and grab some belts still before hanging them up. If Canelo loses then he really would have to be shot to bits but would undoubtedly try to squeeze out another few big paydays for himself. I think it's probably a bit melodramatic to say this a loser retires kind of fight.

Crawford almost 40 and *should* lose versus Canelo. IDK that he fights again, win or lose.

Canelo *could* fight a few more years just not at the top level. He's far removed from the force that drew with GGG and frightened Smith and stopped BJS, but he still gets the better of Berlanga or Ryder or Munguia...not by much though.

    Agree with this analysis.

I could see Crawford retiring if he beats Canelo though, he is pretty inactive - fighting once a year which is too little and is getting the biggest payday of his career shortly.

I think Crawford retires regardless of if he wins or loses. He said he's never going back down anyway, I think he means this to be his swan song. I think Canelo tries (again) to make a fight with undisputed Bivol at LHW if he wins.

It would be a shame if Canelo retired without getting KO'd at least once. That wouldn't be fair to the fans.
