one of the consequences that i dont think oscar foresees, is that his bargaining power is going to decrease, the longer he stalls. ggg's popularity, fueled by canelos refusal to defend his belt against him, has brought more attention and credibility to the whole ggg persona and brand. his ppv #s are going to keep increasing and consequently his purse demands will follow.
canelo is in the opposite position. his image has taken a hard hit and i think his next fights numbers will reflect that. if canelo does poor numbers and ggg-brook does real good, a whole new set of numbers are going to have to be involved in negotiations.
