That's not how it works and if you think it is then you're in complete denial.

****, not Reg from the UK.... That was hypothetical because it isn't proven he was juicing. Cmon Reg, keep up if you're going to quote me.

I'm sorry but Canelo is testing clean. There's nothing else to say but " May the best man win!"

3 in a row! that's pretty good for Clenelo since he's used to failing twice in a row! Maybe Golden Boy will show a picture of him next to a treadmill next to explain away why he looks like a mini redhead hulk!

Ok, a couple of things; calling me Mr Sourgrapes did cause me to chuckle a bit. And no, I don’t consider myself having been taken to school...but, believe it or not -and in the name of Christian charity- I’ll say this; I actually believe you’ve done a pretty good job defending your guy. Every fighter can have their resumes dissected and be made to look worse than they are and better than they are and you’re obviously focusing on Clenolo’s good. And I agree with you that he does have some good points- the kid is no bum. He’s a real fighter and has accomplished more than most. But my point remains that he is manufactured. Not to the extent that say Sean O’grady was or BJ Flores, but nevertheless he has always been viewed by his handlers as a potential “star”. There’s nothing wrong with that and fair play to him as he has made the absolute most of it. Many of us reading this forum have had lucky breaks but didn’t capitalize on them they way we should have and could have. In Clenolo’s case he did capitalize and I think that speaks to his character. But when all is said and done he owes just as much to savvy promoting, matchmaking, social media marketing, multiple belts in multiple weight classes and extremely favorable judging as he does to hard work and talent.
But he also has lost a lot of good will with the way he handled approaching the first GGG fight. The whole, “Mexicans don’t **** around” and then vacating his belt. Asking for an intern fight to allow his body to acclimate to a full 160lbs and then fighting Amir Khan of all people! And then he fights Chavez Jr at a catchweight of 164! The reality is that he was the lineal middleweight champion of the world and Golovkin was perceived to be the best middleweight and for them to fight immediately was what the fans wanted and history and honor dictated but Clenolo stalled in an obvious attempt to age the already older fighter. As far as the fight itself goes, he received a ridiculous scorecard that could be only explained by corruption and nothing else (like he did with Mayweather). That took some of his shine from the fact that he did a lot better than most people thought he would do against Golovkin. Again, good on him. But now we come to the rematch and the rascal, that is known for being rock solid, cutting massive weight from his already muscular frame and then rehydrating up to 20lbs by fight night, has twice tested positive for a banned PED known for helping athletes cut weight while maintaining strength and conditioning. The tainted beef excuse, even if legit, is played out and does not negate the zero tolerance aspect of this particular PED. And to top it off-his trainer is a butcher! Sorry bud, but all of this just reeks. It is what is.
All of this to say it is what is. He’s a good kid, a tough guy, a legit top 3 contender / alphabet belt holder type that is very marketable, better than what his haters say but also a manufactured guy who has twice tested positive for a banned PED for an upcoming rematch against an aging champ that most observers felt he lost to.
