It may well ruin it, I woulldnt blame GGG if he walked away from this one but i would be very disapointed. It seems the failed test is the straw for Golovkin, he cant keep his thoughts to himself about the subject of Canelo, GBP and their cheating ways.

 

They have history of losing in court as well,looking back when they gave going to court as the reason for dropping the WBC belt itsmore likely it was done to avoid WBC stringent drug testing.

 

He doesnt think he has enough clout, he knows he has and anybody who doubts it just look at whats happening right now.

I've argued with a lot of people and I don't mind that people are subjective in favour of the fighter they like. I can be that too.

But plain lying is a bit too much.

I don’t blame him as Golovkin has towed the line for years waiting for this and his whole mantra leading up to the first fight was about bringing respect back to boxing all the while knowing how much things were stacked against him.
Consensus had GGG winning by two rounds at the least and still it’s not enough and as GGG said if there was a case for giving it Canelo then they would have so against Canelo even a twelve round shut out would only add up to a draw.
Re Mayweather he was gutted at the announcement of 114-114 as he was the A side but still got stuffed,never has there been a fighter as protected as Canelo Álvarez and re his resume it counts for very little in my eyes since he always knew he had the judges were he to lose as he was never under any physical threat from smaller guys anyway.

 

yeah but what about the sport? We don't have many guys Canelo's level. Boxing is about the fans. So we cancel the fight and then we have Floyd handpicking guys and fighting catchweights, which is really cheating in a different way since catchweights at ways to get an advantage.

 

GGG is well within his right to pull out of the fight now.

Dude, he's not mixed up because he's straight up lying at this point. And the purpose is to confuse the 98% of posters here whom are not paying attention. Today we still have posters confused by these posts to the point that they believe it is VADA who made the statement about it being consistent with meat contamination. I am a FAN of BOXING first and then a fan of some BOXERS but the sport is always first in most of my views

 

The sport will move on. If anything PPV needs to die. We have Usyk and Gassiev fighting in May. The best fighting the best. And unlike GGG Canelo nobody in that fight is old or failed a test.
