Apparently they are renaming him 'Cleanelo' and all the previous test results will be given to Oscar's dog 'Fido' who will receive a lifetime ban from world title boxing.

Go ahead post the full statement, lets dissect it brainiac.

Now lets see who's being dishonest, shall we?

Who is the burden of proof on in cases of clenbutrol? Is the burden of proof on Canelo to prove he ate contaminted meat?

Troll at it again. Why don't you post the part of the rules that states that it is the athlete that is strictly liable for his test samples, eh?

The principle of strict liability is applied in situations where urine/blood samples collected from an athlete have produced adverse analytical results.

It means that each athlete is strictly liable for the substances found in his or her bodily specimen, and that an anti-doping rule violation occurs whenever a prohibited substance (or its metabolites or markers) is found in bodily specimen, whether or not the athlete intentionally or unintentionally used a prohibited substance or was negligent or otherwise at fault.

Lance Armstrong tested positive for erythropoietin (EPO). EPO ≠ Clenbuterol. WADA's policy on EPO is much stricter than it's policy on Clenbutrol for obvious reasons, due to the fact that it has been scientifically established that an athlete can test positive for clenbuterol at low levels following ingestion of contaminated meat.

Guys shadow is right a man should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

And in clenelos case we should presume him innocent even when proven guilty

Majority of the other athletes (with lower concentration of clen) had to prove there innocence. What makes Canelo special ?

    Shadow111. 3 Questions for you.

    1. Have you ever worked out and understand the nature of "muscle growth" ?
    2. Do you understand how drug tests work ?
    3. Do you read anything bar what GBP put out ?

If you have any understand on the first 2 points, you would understand why this is a big deal, and why Canelo should have a full investigation. Not a botched one which will just ultimately be swept under the carpet for a few hundred thousands.

They are waiting for Mexican cattle owners to load up their stock with Clenbuterol.

    Then they start the investigation.

Why do you ignore the WADA statement about how it's unreasonable for the burden of proof to be on the athlete in clenbuterol cases?

    But then accept.

    1. Why would Canelo risk it?
    2. Why would his team risk it?
    3. Clen gives a vast advantage for Fighters like canelo who like to come in vastly higher muscle mass that normally aquired at that weight class.

If you're team is stupid enough not to check the meat source in a tainted country. You deserve the ban.
