How high the first test is would depend on how soon after he ate the contaminated meat he was tested. (high metabolism or not) As you may know, WADA and the IOC consider any test result under 1,000 picograms in the range of possible meat contamination.

Canelo will likely always have stamina issues and have to really pace himself. I have little doubt that he trains hard, you're just born with a good gas tank or not, and there's only so much you can do to maximize it.

I think another issue is his explosive movements in everything. Fighters with great stamina like Salvador Sanchez or Floyd have a certain relaxed, free flowing movement. Canelo seems to put everything into his movements, his combos, his defensive moves, etc...and it takes a toll on your energy. He could maybe improve on this but it's pretty difficult to do that after so many fights.
