No. It was pretty clear what type of drug Canelo was using before he got caught using it.

He could have been shooting it up like heroin for a yr straight and it probably would be inconclusive.
Hair testing is great for toxins with a long half life, but even junkies can beat beat them with a simple cover agent.
Of course a black fighter would have a hard time explaining his red hair from the bleaching

Not only is an apology in order but he should be awarded a win for cinco de mayo due to such blatantly false accusations.

I know a couple of people that work within the pro body building circuit & when I asked them there thought's on Canelo they basically sniggered & said 'is that even a question'! Meaning of course he's jacked up to **** . . Look at his physique change!

The hair follicle test was demanded from many Golovkin fans and posters on this forum. Bennett coming out and making that statement about lighter colored hair shows that Bennett is not protecting Canelo from bad publicity. He didn't have to come out and say that, and not saying anything about the lighter hair color making the test more unreliable would have only helped Canelo from a PR perspective.

You can't say something that many Golovkin fans and posters on this forum wanted is a PR stunt. The view that the NSAC is cozy with DLH and GBP and has given Canelo preferential treatment has been shattered. Bennett has shown himself to be very netrual and "by the letter of the law" in how he's handled this whole ordeal.

The hair follicle test coming back negative is a noteworthy piece of information. No one's arguing that it completely exonerates Canelo, but it does suggest that Canelo was not engaged in the kind of doping that many of his haters believe he was (many of whom called for the hair follicle test for that reason). Further, it shows that Canelo has gone the extra step to have his hair follicle test, however unrealiable it may be. (it's something that an athlete who was actually knowingly doping over a long period of time would be worried about submitting because it might come back positive)

And who is to say that he didn't have it cleansed before sending it in after all the sell shampoo kits to strip chronicles out of your hair for as low $13. A lot of people myself included thought hair follicle testing was reliable, however when reading from the lab doing the testing that it be difficult for them to even find Clen in someone's hair who was using and doubly more difficult with light colored hair. It really doesn't prove anything. The only reliable evidence out there shows that he failed two tests for a substance that helps you lose weight while keeping muscle.. if you cannot see why that would seem beneficial to someone who has always had trouble making weight then there is no help for you.
