Wrong, he was caught a couple times. He got them buried via the auspicious retro-active TUE. They literally covered it and others the movie the Program man. He got caught for steroids, and literally threw a BS excuse out there, voila saddle sore via cream.

Considering Canelo is a clean fighter in the ring and that he has passed every test he has ever taken, and considering what the Lab director stated, Im inclined to believe what the Director said over a few Canelo haters.

He clearly didn't use the best judgement if he indeed ate meat from a street vendor which is so far just some made up theory, because he could have easily ate meat from an upscale meat market who happened to have some contaminated beef.

 

Got away with it too until his ego got the best of him. Karma.

 

You are absolutely invested in arguing for Canelo. You have been doing it almost non stop since this story broke.

It is absolutely fanciful for you to claim you are "not as emotionally attached to Canelo as we'd like to think."

If anything, you are even more emotionally attached to Canelo than people here think. Though you are plainly living in denial about it.

 

So the WBC, GBP and news outlets are not telling the truth? Canelo tested positive for a banned substance, that's all we need to know.

It's not in dispute, let it go, you're getting boring, accept Canelo is now a stained and tainted fighter and move on.

I said I love boxing and I'm a big Canelo fan.

If I'm discussing boxing today I'm discussing the biggest story in boxing atm, which happens to involve Canelo whom Im a big fan of.

As far as losing any sleep or getting worked up about it, not one bit.

 

You're starting to lose it buddy. For someone who doesnt care for Canelo you are sure getting worked up about it.

Canelo failed a drug test. If the decision is to fine and suspend him then that is a perfectly reasonable punishment.

The amount of clenbuterol found is consistent with meat contaminents. In other words, he likely did not knowingly consume it. But again, if he is suspended and fined, they have every right too.

You on the other hand are spazzing out about forever tarnished and stained and the sky is falling.

How many posts have you put up today arguing Canelo's case? 100?

I think the whole thing is hilarious. The face of boxing popped not once but twice in a 3 day period. Barring any other test or info the fight is still going to go as planned. EXCEPT as others have noted Canelo will have a long time getting this off him. There will be more and more testing demands of him in the future, and if he denies testing for future fights, it makes him look even more guilty.

I honestly don't know the truth like everyone one else here. I'm not sure what to believe yet.

CANELO TESTED POSITIVE FOR A BANNED SUBSTANCE. It's a fact, just get over it.

Now you got people making excuses for Floyd (TUE cleared him), JMM (hard work despite enlisting the help of a doping expert), and Canelo (tainted meat).
