There will be a million clauses for things like this but i doubt showtime will want to lose mayweather even if he loses. Hed still be a big star.

But if Canelo loses to Trout, then Canelo wo't be coming off an impressive win :nut and Floyd only fights guys who come off impressive wins ala beating Berto. So who knows if Floyd would accept a fight with Canelo if Canelo were to lose.

Styles make fights. Floyd isnt afraid of Saul. Even if Saul dismantles Trout, which he wont (he may win but not in dominating fashion), Floyd still fights Canelo. Floyds countershots will discourage Saul and trust me Floyd's starting to pack some pop in his shots

So to review again: the only way Canelo will fight a legit opponent at his weight class is if and only if he gets a guarantee that he won't have to fight another natural 154 pounder in his next fight (albeit one he turned down once before). And even then, he still hasn't signed to fight that single legit opponent at his weight yet.
