he may not be a K.O Artist, but I am very impressed by how much force he puts into his punches.. I haven seen this type of fighter in a while...:bbb I think putting that much force on his punches is what made El Perro so gun shy... I think this puts alot of fear into Canelo's opponent..
155, Drainelo was a shadow of himself... he was close to 175, his arms were much thicker than el Perro
I actually dont think he hits that hard it just looks it With all the shots he was landing he shoulda been able to rock Angulo properly
he swoll both angulos eyes shut. angulo can take a beating. canelo had an excellent strategy by taking the fight to angulo, he didn't let angulo get off first, he kept angulo on the back foot. i thought canelo would gas but he didn't. angulo actually outweighed canelo last night.
He's a hurtful puncher but lacks really devastating one punch power. A lot of his power comes from how cleanly and accurately he hits his opponents rather than the force of the punch.
This. Hes a mostly a dynamic puncher who doesn't ground his feet to generate maximum torque which in my view is a good thing. Punching style reminded me of JMM with the pivots, right hands and uppercuts. I think Canelo beats Lara.
