Canelo-PW Are we going to agree to give Canelo credit now?

I'd love to see Paul Willy end this hype train and rejuvenate his career after the Martinez and Lara losses. Love to see him in fights that should've already happened vs Cotto, Pac, Mayweather, hell even a Margarito rematch is still enticing to me.

 

It sounds like a good card and a good idea.But GBP would hate any commitments involving Canelo.Just the thought of having him next against Lara or Molina ....

 

I can actually see Paul's work rate slightly bothering Canelo. For whatever reason, Saul does not like to fight constantly during a round. He literally takes whole minutes off and then explodes.

If P. Willy piles up the points, and avoids the big shots coming his way, then he could get the decision, unlikely, but possible.

 

LARA, KIRKLAND, MARTINEZ God ****ing Damn it.

 

It gets a "meh" out of me. There are far better fights for Canelo, but, sadly, still a step up for him. I've gotten past the point of hoping to see him in a tough fight. For now, he's young. In a few years it will be "he just moved up to middleweight."

 

P Williams is still a good test but after that fight Canelo has to start fighting some prime talent. I think that he won his title to early in his career as GBP wants to cash in on him. Though I rate him in the top 5 in his division after Floyd and Cotto.

 

I like Canelo, and I WANT to give him credit, but Paul is pretty shot to **** now and not much of a threat at that weight anyway.

 

Williams is shot to ****... I wanna see Canelo-Kirkland!

That was absolutely insane and you know you can't stop a fight durink a break between rounds unless the fighter is not prepared to get back to the next round? But I don't know how Molina's name came up in this thread about Ginger and PW, now Kirkland and Molina, Lara too. What's happening here Jesus, I mean Memerto and yes, nobody messes with the Jesus or he takes the gun, sticks up in the Dude's ass until it goes click. Keep licking that bowling ball, Mamerto.

 

Have to see how he does not facing blown up fighters and old farts before taking him seriously. Facing Williams is the step in the right direction as is facing Molina afterwards hopefully but it's a huge problem when you finally decide to finally step up your compo after 35+ fights. When dont know how good Alvarez is so lets came down before making big claims though I feel he still obliterates Kirkland and puts and clinic on Williams. Fact remains he hasn't fought em yet so we will never know until he has.

And lol at considering PW shot. Guy got knocked out by Martinez who happens to be MW king now yet is somehow done and a bum. Past prime yes but still a good test for Alvarez after facing the bums, senoir citizens, and blown up fighters he has. Still better than anyone he's fought and Willy brings it so it'll be a great fight while it lasts.

 

so it's confirmed for Sept 15 that Canelo-P-Will will happen? Not the BEST fight available, but still for what it is not too bad

as it will be PPV, and I'm wondering if it'll be shown @ Movie Theaters

that would be pretty awesome. heck if Lara and or Molina can't be on the undercard, I'm cool with Kirkland being on it (and an impressive showing by Kirkland could line him up for a shot @ Canelo) ... as GB is gonna have to throw some more quality names on the card if they want to up the PPV buys. Heck maybe even give Morales a bout too, as it's Mexican Independence day
