A friend of mine was in traction and had a little button that would administer morphine via drip if the pain got too bad. The guy in the bed next to him pressed the button 12 times in a row. My pal said his brain felt like a rubber ball ...

 I bet. I was on very strong painkillers, morphine, and suffering from sleep deprivation because of the constant noise on the hospital ward and they also had the heating up really high. It all combined to have me hallucinating at one point. Most people are out of hospital in a couple of days after having an appendectomy if they do it via keyhole surgery, or even the same day sometimes, and recover very quickly. But mine burst and it was messy (I was in surgery for 3 hours, whereas the average length when they do it via open surgery is 30-60 minutes. That's why the recovery process took so long with me.

The guy in the bed next to me had one of those self-administering morphine drips. Poor guy had cancer (he was only 45 IIRC). Absolutely lovely chap I felt really sorry for him.

Yeah hospitals suck, half the people that I know that go in them never come out again. When I was a kid my old man had a butchery for a while; I swear to god the last time I visited a hospital that same smell came back to hit me in the gut.

I know it really is gut wrenching seeing folk like that,I lost my sister over a year ago aged 42 to cancer and she appeared to enjoy the drugs way too much lol.

    Yeah it is.

Really sorry to hear that about your sister, 42 is way too young to go.

It's easy to see how people can get hooked on morphine and prescription drugs, especially if they're in physical pain.

Yeah they aren't the nicest places. Weirdly enough I actually used to like them when I was younger. I think that had a lot to do with the one I used to go to having lots of hot nurses and student doctors though lol

Bad Knee eh? So that really put the kybosh on a Clenelo v SaunBJS would make him look a fool. TBH I am not that convinced GGG will do a lot better against a good Saunders, but that would be a good honest test of both men!
