Danny Jacobs is set to earn around 15M against Canelo. Thats a lot more than Golovkey earned for his two PPV headliners combined.
GGG wants to fight bums while still expecting to be paid another 20M for a third fight. Why would Canelo want to give him that money again while he's taking on yet another challenging and risky fight against top rated Jacobs.

Its anybodys fight when two guys step into the ring and Canelo gave Golovkin the opportunity to knock him out over 24 rounds. His not his fault Golovkin wasn't good enough to even produce a knockdown.
Both guys had to up their game in the rematch and Canelo done that like a real ATG by becoming the aggressor.
Canelo stepped up twice in those fights and took the type of challenge GGG would never take. He fought the bigger guy with LHW power whereas Golovkin fought the smaller guy with JMW power.
How many guys ducked GGG?? Nobody ever ducked Canelo. Anybody would step inside the ring with Canelo.

The reason Golovkin can't generate high purses on his own is because he has never took risks and challenges like Canelo has. Canelo earned what he has and he's right to tell GGG to go and fight somebody good if he wants another hefty multi million dollar payout
