I understand posturing and all that...as much as the next guy

the problem is when...a guy like ggg says something like "164" for ward.....and then people run with it and say "well that was his starting point....why didn't ward counter...eventually they could have agreed on 168".....when we all know the truth

sometimes the truth is there if you read between the lines...if you read enough and can form a solid conclusion

I don't give a fly s##t. If Canelo doesn't want to defend his middleweight WBC title against GGG @ 160 lbs, he should be stripped, plain and simple. :yep

The Bernie crowd are also the ones who are obsessed with how many PPV's sold, and the purse amounts. Counting other peoples money is like porn to them.

You Bumlovkinites still don't get it. Alvarez is the one here who has ALL the leverage. The only thing Bumlovkin has in his favor are the 97K PPVs he sold. LOL. The Triple Duck needs to go ahead and agree to the 155lb catchweight then proceed to KO Alvarez.

Imagine Kovalev fighting a catchweight at 169 against Stevenson.

So what happens next? After Khan its mandatory time and when they sit down with K2 and the WBC and K2 say "Fekk off to everything GBP are asking for we want the fight and we want to fight at 160. We have stepped aside twice now for this fraud but we will not step aside again".

Problem is they want to step aside a 3rd time because GGG is already a great he doesn't need to beat great fighter

Regardless of if you think he should take the fight at 155, it's idiotic to agree to that publicly now.

    It's called being consistent.

If he fluctuated, there'd be an army of posters that wouldn't shut up about it because they think these statements are binding in some naive way.
