It's just an example of money in big fights. Bigger and better fighters have conceded to terms, when will GGG, Rico spadabora?

well...he should take it...golden boys next offer might actually be less

canelo doesn't need ggg as much, or at all, as gggs fans would like you to believe...they all swore all his loyal fans would ditch him for ducking golovkin...yet he put 50k in the seats and did 300k buys against liam friggin smith

All the options Canelo has bring in around 300k, not more. If Canelo wants to get 800k-900k he needs GGG.

I could understand if they offered GGG 2-3 mill but they have offered 10mill ...10mill is not to be sniffed at that's a massive payday for GGG, regardless if canelo is getting more money what do you value more, your legacy or the money? If he beats canelo that win will be worth more than its weight in gold. I used to think GGG was the type of guy to not care about the money and would fight anybody, i also used to think canelo would never duck or vacate. To me it seems like they are both semi scared of the fight.

 You must have missed most of past year's boxing news, or haven't been watching O$car & company lately !!!

O$car has really messed up Canelo's reputation and creditability.

GBP's been playing a "waiting game" hoping to wait until GGG's athletic ability declines.

All the HYPE/INCENERARY comments are coming from GBP & company who continue to disparage GGG's importance in drawing PPV attendance.

:uptosomething: GGG/K2 have been quiet, watching O$car keep digging... and digging, deeper & deeper, trying to salvage Canelo's reputation.

IMO... the odds of this fight happening are ~ 50/50 slowly spiraling down.

You must be a dumb mofo because Cotto was the champion that had to pay the step aside fee

If he did 300k against a guy like Smith he would do more against Andrade, Charlo/JRock winner, BJS and CEJ

Brook would be another option, Canelo would beat him much quicker than GGG did

Thurman, Spence and DSG would be good options as well but his biggest pay days would easily be........

Pacman and Floyd 2 hands down way bigger than GGG

:bandit: Canelo's fan base is limited to one ethic group and Dallas Texas was an ideal location. Even then...

~ 20% of the fans were given free admittance.

:qmeparto: Cute young TEENY BOPPERS are now the core of Canelo's fanbase, some guys will follow these girls, anywhere.

:risas3: Knowlegeable boxing fans & most boxing commentators thought the Smith/Canelo fight was a " SHAM".

:eyebrow2: Wonder how much longer GBP/Canelo will be able to hold a PPV event.

    ;) Sanders Jr. ran away like a PU$$Y !!!

:loel:The Arena was BOOKED, PPV TV was in place, the promoter offered Brook as a substitute and the fight was held.

Not the greatest matchup.... but understandable given the situation.

It's crazy that you guys think teen girls and women are going to boxing events and ordering the PPVs by the thousands just because they might find Canelo attractive.. Music? Yeah.. Tv shows? Absulutley.. Boxing? I don't think so...

Well that there puts it into perspective doesn't it,Oscar and Canelo won't offer less as it sounds like they now want or let's say need the fight more than ever as they're getting heat which GGG isn't as the media and most boxing fans know that Canelo and Oscars actions have been one of avoiding him and the offer that they mentioned has been seen through for the stupidity that it is?
